Electricity day-ahead market prices are commonly published in euros. If you live in a country outside the euro area, that can make a quick price check less intuitive. With Premium Unlock, WattSmart can show prices in your national currency in supported countries, so the numbers are easier to relate to your household budget and electricity bill.
See prices in the currency you use every day
Instead of mentally converting each hourly or 15-minute price from euros, you can view the same day-ahead price information in the applicable local currency. The selected display currency is used to make charts, tables, and price checks more familiar at a glance.
This is particularly useful when you plan flexible electricity use, such as running a dishwasher, charging a vehicle, or heating water, and want to compare price periods using amounts that feel immediately meaningful.
Available in supported non-euro countries
National-currency display is available for supported market zones outside the euro area. Availability depends on the country or market zone you select in WattSmart.
For example, supported zones may use currencies such as:
- Czech koruna (CZK)
- Danish krone (DKK)
- Norwegian krone (NOK)
- Polish zloty (PLN)
- Swedish krona (SEK)
- Hungarian forint (HUF)

The same price view, in a more useful format
Changing the display currency does not change the underlying day-ahead market price or the timing of its intervals. It simply gives you a more practical way to read the price data for your selected market zone.
You can still use the same WattSmart tools to find better times for electricity use:

- hourly and, where available, 15-minute intervals
- price-level comparison and cheaper-period planning
