SIA ITSmart (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application WattSmart (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects your data.
Information We Collect
We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
However, the App may collect limited technical information through third-party services such as:
- Advertising services (e.g., Google AdMob) may collect your device ID, approximate location (for ad targeting), and usage data.
- Google Play billing system, if you make a purchase to remove ads.
How We Use Information
We use non-personal data to:
- Display relevant advertisements.
- Improve app functionality and performance.
- Process in-app purchases securely via Google Play.

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect information under their own privacy policies:

Website Analytics
The WattSmart website uses Google Analytics 4 in Advanced Consent Mode. Before you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies, but it does receive limited cookieless measurements. These signals may include the page and referrer, timestamp, browser and device information, screen resolution, and the IP address used for the network connection. Google states that Analytics does not store or log IP addresses.
If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies and provide fuller usage statistics. Your choice is stored in your browser under wattsmart-analytics-consent-v1. You can reject analytics cookies or change your choice at any time through the Analytics settings button. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled.
When you choose a language in the language selector, WattSmart also stores the functional preferred_locale cookie for one year so that the home page opens in that language on future visits. This cookie is not used for analytics or advertising and does not depend on your analytics-cookie consent.
Public Data Usage
Our App displays electricity price data that is publicly available. Data is presented for informational purposes only.
Data Retention
We do not store any user data on our servers. Any analytics or ad-related data is managed by third-party providers under their own retention policies.
Security
We prioritize security but cannot guarantee complete protection over data handled by external services such as ad networks or billing systems.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
